[smoked moose hide backing, 24k gold plated hooks]
This has been my personal mantra for a while now. I think it’s really fitting that I had this vision in my mind of what I wanted these earrings to be, and I just couldn’t make my hands translate what I saw into reality. In fact, this is my fourth attempt. I kept getting it wrong and it didn’t feel right.
However, I think that’s what spreading a good fire is. We will make mistakes, our words might be clumsy and we might even need to be willing to accept correction, but a good fire burns anyway. It is an enduring one. It is one willing to listen.
We will all make mistakes. I am learning more and more to be cognizant of my impact and intentions. Is love my biggest intention? Am I willing to shift my thinking and shift my actions to make sure my impact is a good one? Am I willing to do this so no one is accidentally hurt?
Spreading a good fire is something individual and may look different with each person. But I believe that we can ignite one another and our fire will burn warm and bright- with with love at its center.
